Singapore-based remote hiring platform Multiplier raised USD 13.2 million in a Series A funding round led by Sequoia Capital India with the participation of MS&AD Ventures and Picus Capital. Angel investors, including Deepinder Goyal (co-founder, Zomato) and Amrish Rau (CEO, Pine Labs), also participated.
<ul><li>The company plans to funnel the fresh funds into product development, which includes scaling its payroll and benefits features as well as global expansion. The funding comes on the heels of significant growth for the company with Multiplier claiming to have tripled its revenue, doubled its user base, and expanded its presence to over 150 countries (from around 100) since its USD 4 million seed funding round in July 2021 . </ul>
