Circulor, a British blockchain-based SaaS solution to trace sustainability within supply chains, has entered into a strategic partnership with North Coal, a Canadian steelmaker, to establish Metallurgical Coal (Met Coal) traceability and ESG tracking at its Michel Coal Project in British Columbia.
North Coal will use Circulor’s solution in the development phase to track Met Coal samples from the Michel Coal Project to end-users.
Both companies plan to scale up, making the solution available to all customers once full production begins at the Michel Coal Project in 2025.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: The collaboration is consistent with Circulor’s plan to expand its presence in North America. This was disclosed at the time of its USD 14 million Series A funding round in June. Moreover, just last week, Circulor partnered with the Urbix , an Arizona-based battery-grade graphite processing company, to trace graphite supply chains.</ul>
