Xanadu partners with Agnostiq for quantum finance application

Partnerships

  • Toronto-based quantum computing startup Xanadu has collaborated with Agnostiq—another Toronto-based quantum software startup—to develop finance-specific quantum applications. The terms and financial details of the partnership have not been disclosed.

  • The partnership will leverage PennyLane, Xanadu’s open-source software platform for quantum computers, to expedite the process of advancing Agnostiq’s quantum research into product development. PennyLane uses a differentiable programming approach for building applications.

  • The partnership will also make PennyLane accessible to large financial institutions to further encourage enterprises to adopt quantum computing.
