CloudTrucks, an online freight matching platform, has raised USD 115 million in a Series B funding round led by Tiger Global, with participation from Menlo Ventures, Flexport, Caffeinated Capital, Craft Ventures, and several angel investors among others. The round values the company at USD 850 million, and brings its total funds raised to USD 141.6 million.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team across all departments, especially engineering, data science, and customer service, enhance its digital integrations with brokers and shippers, and further develop its product.
Reportedly, the company has seen an 8x growth in the number of loads completed on its platform, translating into a 9.5x increase in its revenue since December 2020.
