Ottonomy IO teams up with Presto for autonomous curbside and parking lot deliveries in Redwood

Partnerships

 • Ottonomy IO, a delivery droid manufacturer, has partnered with Redwood, California-based restaurant tech company Presto to provide autonomous curbside and parking lot deliveries for Presto’s customers.

 • Customers can place orders and pay via Presto’s touch or voice products and have Ottonomy IO’s droids deliver the items.

Analyst QuickTake: Ottonomy IO currently pilots droids for multiple industries across the US, including airport and retail sectors, targeting both indoor and outdoor delivery purposes. The news comes just a month after the company partnered with Los Angeles-based mobile food ordering app Crave to pilot contactless food deliveries. Furthermore, Ottomony’s peer startup Starship Technologies also piloted food deliveries in Redwood, in partnership with DoorDash in 2017.
