Noname Security, an enterprise API security startup, has raised USD 135 million in a Series C funding round co-led by Georgian and Lightspeed and included participation from existing investors such as Insight Partners, Cyberstarts, and Forgepoint. The round values the company at USD 1 billion and brings its total funding to USD 220 million.
The company will use the funds to expand its go-to-market and R&D teams globally.
Over the past six months, Noname Security has tripled its headcount to over 200 employees, globally. Since its inception in 2020, the company has recorded a growth in customer base and revenue by more than 400% every quarter. The company also counts 20% of the Fortune 500 companies, including two of the world’s five largest pharmaceutical companies, one of the world’s three largest retailers, and one of the world’s three largest telecoms, as customers. Furthermore, it has revealed plans to enhance its platform with new security features in 2022.
