  • Eat Just, a California-based cell-cultured meat producer, announced that its GOOD Meat segment received the regulatory approval to sell new types of cell-cultured meat in Singapore. According to the company, one of the news formats— a cell-cultured chicken breast— will debut at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach starting next week. The permission comes just over a year after the Singapore Food Agency, the country’s food safety regulatory authority, granted the company the world's first approval to sell cell-cultured meat.

  • The company also announced plans to increase the production capacity of its cell- cultured meat in Singapore by 2023. The company stated that the design and fabrication of vessels and systems to boost its farmed meat production capacity are already underway, with the additional infrastructure expected to be operational within two years. As the company progresses towards scaling up its production, Eat Just's cultivated meat segment has committed to growing its team across manufacturing, research, and engineering in Singapore.
