Wingcopter receives funds from business aviation specialist SYNERJET

Funding

 • German drone delivery provider Wingcopter has received an undisclosed amount of funds from SYNERJET, a business aviation specialist in Latin America.

 • The company intends to utilize the funds to expand its operational reach in Latin America.

 • Wingcopter once again mentioned its Series B funding round, which is to take place next year.

Analyst QuickTake: The news comes just two months after SYNERJET joined Wingcopter’s Authorized Partnership Program (WAPP)—its global network of strategic partners, where SYNERJET is the distributor and local technical support provider for Wingcopter’s drone customers in Latin America. The company also bagged an undisclosed amount of funds from Japan-based Drone Fund earlier this month to expand its reach in Japan as well as from Uber co-founder Garrett Camp’s Expa (a global network of startup founders who support entrepreneurs through expertise, access, and funding) in September this year .
