Sunbasket to merge with US-based keto supplement manufacturer, Prüvit

M&A

  • Sunbasket, an online meal kit provider, announced its merger with Prüvit, a keto supplement manufacturer for an undisclosed amount.

  • The newly merged entity will be called PSB Holdings, and it aims to create a single wellness platform. The company plans to offer both food kits and supplements to an existing community of health and fitness users. Sunbasket’s shareholders will retain 40% of the new company, while the rest will be held by Prüvit shareholders.

  • Founded in 2014, Sunbasket is a meal kit startup that offers customers a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In 2021, the company expanded to a full-service meal delivery, including ready-to-heat meals and a range of food items such as sides, snacks, and pantry staples. The company also signed a prepared meal partnership with the online grocery delivery service Instacart.
