360Learning acquires UK-based corporate learning company Looop

M&A

  • 360Learning, a learning technology systems provider, acquired Looop, a learning management system (LMS) provider, for USD 20 million in a combination of cash and stock.

  • This is 360Learning’s first acquisition, strengthening its product offering to support customers as they deal with transitions to remote work, employee turnover, and skills shortages.  

  • Founded in 2014 by Ben Muzzell and Dan Gray, Looop offers an automated learning management system (LMS) for compliance, onboarding, manager training, partner training, sales training, and customer education. The company reported an annual growth rate of 100% YoY and reached a positive cash flow. Its customers include Klarna, Monzo, Financial Times, and ASOS.
