Career Karma, an adult learning platform, raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round led by Top Tier Capital Partners with participation from new investor GV (Google Ventures) and existing investors SoftBank, Emerson Collective, and Kapor Capital.
The funds will be used to enter the higher education and employee benefits space as well as expand the team mainly in the data, product, design, sales, and enterprise divisions.
The company also announced a change to its existing business model—shifting to career development from its existing program navigation solution.
