Buzzup launches alpha version for creators to reward follower engagement

Product updates

  • Buzzup, a platform for creators to reward follower engagement, has launched its web-based alpha version for a select group of creators. The current version of the platform allows creators to identify, reward, and share their most engaged fans on Instagram using publicly available API data. Rewards on Buzzup include giveaways, virtual meetups, and exclusive private chats with creators.

  • Buzzup has already raised USD 500,000 in funding from creators, and is in discussion with investors for a seed round, with plans to expand its product to TikTok and YouTube later this year.

  • Once released to the public, Buzzup also plans to enable creators to monetize their audiences through subscriptions and in-app purchases, including NFTs and creator-specific tokens. Currently, the company plans to keep 10% of all revenue earned by creators on Buzzup.
