GoStudent raises EUR 300 million in Series D funding

<ul><li>GoStudent, an online tutoring platform, raised EUR 300 million (~USD 340 million) in a Series D funding round led by new investor Prosus, with participation from Deutsche Telekom, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, and Tencent. The round follows its EUR 205 million Series C round in June 2021 and brings the company’s total funding to USD 669 million, and values GoStudent at EUR 3 billion.</ul>

<ul><li>The funds will be used to enter new markets and expand within existing markets, and for product development via M&A (it acquired FoxEducation Services, the company behind the SchoolFox app, in September 2021). Moreover, the company plans to enter six markets across the US, Asia Pacific, and MENA (the Middle East and North Africa) regions.</ul>
