Stripe partners with Ford to facilitate the automaker’s ecommerce expansion

Partnerships

  • Stripe, a provider of online and app-based payment services infrastructure, announced that it has entered a five-year agreement with Ford Motor Company to offer ecommerce and payment facilities for Ford customers and dealers in North America and Europe.

  • Through this partnership, Stripe will process payments for Ford Pro FinSimple solutions (including vehicle ordering, reservations, financing, and electric-vehicle charging) and route customer payments from Ford’s website to the correct local Ford or Lincoln dealer via Stripe Connect.

  • The collaboration is a part of the Ford+ restructuring plan (electrification and growth strategy). Ford plans to rollout Stripe’s technology in the second half of 2022, starting in North America.
