CloudApp, an app that enables teams to share and collaborate through annotated screen recordings, audio, and images, has raised USD 9.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Grayhawk Capital and Nordic Eye. Existing investors including Kickstart Fund, Cervin Ventures, and New Ground Ventures as well as CloudApp customers Peter Kazanjy (CRO, Atrium) and Derek Andersen (CEO, Startup Grind and Bevy) also participated.
The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand its product and engineering teams to improve CloudApp’s speed, security, user experience, and integration capabilities. Part of the new funds will also be used for marketing activities.
