BigCommerce, a no-code platform used to build ecommerce websites, expanded its global presence into Germany, Mexico, and Spain to enable local merchants to build, scale, and grow their ecommerce businesses internationally, using Bigcommerce’s services.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: This complements the company’s recent expansion initiatives in Latin America and Europe. The company partnered with Mercado Libre in July 2021 to strengthen its position in the Latin American market and just six months ago, it launched its services in France, Italy, and the Netherlands. Currently, BigCommerce’s presence spans across 150 countries (up from 120 in June 2020); although this is a substantial geographic spread, it continues to trail its peer Shopify , which was present in 175 countries, as of April 2021.</ul>
