Genvid launches publishing division; hires former Ubisoft production leader

  • Epsorts infrastructure startup Genvid Technologies has launched a publishing division for Massive Interactive Live Events (MILEs), a form of interactive entertainment. It has also hired former Ubisoft executive, Arthur von Nagel, as vice president of production at its subsidiary, Genvid Entertainment. 

  • Nagel, a veteran in the gaming industry, will oversee the creative and production teams at Genvid Entertainment, working with external parties on the company’s MILEs product. Nagel was the head of production of the Rocksmith music education brand at Ubisoft San Francisco. He has also served as a director and producer at Telltale Games and shipped over 30 titles, including The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Game of Thrones.
