Studytube, a corporate learning platform, acquired Springest, a training-booking marketplace, for an undisclosed figure. The acquisition accompanies a Series B fundraise of USD 30 million, in a round co-led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP) and existing investor Verdane Capital.
The acquisition will add 30+ clients to Studytube’s portfolio, which will now comprise 300+ mid to large-sized organizations. It will also expand its presence in Germany, Belgium, the Nordic region, and the UK. Additionally, Studytube’s product offering will grow to 8,000+ learning providers, offering more than 250,000 learning products. It also reported that learning products worth EUR 50 million (~USD 57.5 million) were acquired through its marketplaces in 2021.
The fresh funds will be used to expand the team and be directed toward a European expansion via M&A.
Springest is a marketplace for learning and development content to support corporations with employee training. The platform’s clients include T-Mobile, Vattenfall, Aegon, NS, Eneco, and STORK.
