  • Thought Machine, a core banking infrastructure provider, has partnered with Intesa Sanpaolo (Italy’s largest bank by total assets) to power “Isybank,” a new digital banking platform. Along with this partnership, Thought Machine has also received an investment of GBP 40 million (USD 54 million) from Intesa Sanpaolo.

  • Isybank will be powered by Thought Machine’s core banking engine Vault (which allows multi-currency transactions) and will initially target four million mass-market users in Italy.

  • Further, Intesa Sanpaolo may also replace Thought Machine’s mainframe-based technology with cloud infrastructure and expand its market segments both in Italy and internationally.
