Addverb Technologies, a developer of automation solutions for retail and warehouses based in India, has announced its expansion into North and South American markets, through a subsidiary established in Texas, following a USD 132 million series B funding from Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries last month.
The company also plans to set up an experience center in San Diego to help customers develop automation use cases for their businesses.
The US subsidiary office will be led by CEO of Addverb Technologies USA Inc. Mark Messina, who brings in more than 20 years of experience in building, developing, and scaling engineering operations.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: With this expansion, Addverb joins a handful of startups offering automated micro-fulfillment solutions in the US including Alert Innovation , Fabric, and Takeoff Technologies . It will also compete with more established incumbents such as Dematic, Ocado, and AutoStore, which offer similar automation solutions.</ul>
