Outbrain, a content recommendation and discovery platform, announced the release of a new AI-based marketing campaign optimization tool, engagement bid strategy (EBS).
EBS analyzes campaign performance and audience behavior data to automatically optimize ad servings on its platform and adjusts cost-per click biddings.
The tool does not require the use of third-party cookies or website tracking codes and hence the firm claims that it is simpler and faster to set up on an advertisers website.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: The new tool introduced by Outbrain might be in response to the campaign optimization tool introduced by rival ad marketplace firm, Taboola (named SmartDimensions) in November 2021. As the deadline for the elimination of third-party cookies from popular web browsers draws near (scheduled to be eliminated from Google Chrome by end-2023), tools such as EBS that are built for the cookieless world may increasingly become essential in order to deliver personalized customer experiences. </ul>
