Magnite, a leading independent supply-side ad platform (SSP), acquired revenue measurement platform (RMP) Carbon RMP for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in UK, Carbon RMP’s solutions allows publishers to manage, measure, and monetize first-party audience data in real-time. The platform contains an enterprise-grade data management platform (DMP) that leverages AI and machine learning (ML) and together with its data science team, provides automated audience categorization, data scoring, and other analytics tools. The firm’s clients and partners include Imgur, Captify, the Arena Group, Narratiive, and Zeotap.
The acquisition is expected to enhance Magnite’s product and engineering teams’ capabilities with respect to privacy-focused customer and audience identification.
