Verbit, an AI-based transcription software provider, has acquired Take Note, a UK-based transcription service, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2006, Take Note provides audio and video transcription, captioning, and note-taking solutions primarily targeting the market research sector. Currently, Take Note has a team of ~600 transcribers based in the UK.
As per the deal, Verbit will absorb Take Note’s team of 28 employees and will now serve over 2,500 customers. Take Note’s UK offices are expected to be utilized to support Verbit’s customers across Europe.
