Esports tournament organizer Ignite announces USD 10 million in funding

Funding

  • Ignite Tournaments, a play-to-earn esports tournament platform, announced its USD 10 million funding round co-led by Animoca Brands, Infinity Ventures Crypto, and Moon Holdings Fund. The funding consists of USD 3 million in seed funding (closed in December 2021), with the remaining funds closed via a strategic round in February 2022. 

  • The funds are earmarked for the improvement of the platform’s infrastructure and operations.
