Fauna, a cloud and serverless database services provider, launched ‘event streaming’ to provide developers with an open, push-based streaming method to detect real-time data changes at both a document and collection level.
Moreover, Fauna announced that its native attribute-based access control will be extended to event streaming to enable users to apply dynamic access control for critical data. Developers can use any of Fauna’s language drivers such as JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, or Scala to detect changes and push them to any subscribed clients in real time. The company also plans to extend these capabilities through GraphQL subscriptions.
