Rockset adds Microsoft Azure integrations to its platform

Product updates

  • Rockset, a real-time indexing database platform, added integrations to Microsoft Azure to support real-time ingestion from Azure Blob Storage, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Service Bus.

  • This enables Rockset to ingest data without needing real-time data pipelines, regardless of whichever hyperscaler is used by an enterprise. Additionally, Rockset leverages these integrations to ingest data in bulk without requiring an ETL tool, after which it switches to continuous ingestion, enabling the data to stay in sync with the data source.

  • The company claims it is possible to ingest millions of data points every second and analyze this new data within one to two seconds. Enterprises will also be able to roll up and transform the data in real time to save costs on storage and ETL tools.
