Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), an Ontario-based drone and logistics systems developer, has partnered with DSV Canada, the Canadian division of the global transport and logistics provider DVS, to transport “dangerous goods” in a route within the DSV’s warehouse facility in Milton, Ontario. This makes DCC the first to deliver dangerous goods by drones in Canada.
Dangerous goods refer to products with safety risks and considered potentially hazardous to transport. This list includes items such as flammable liquids, lithium-ion batteries, and infectious substances.
