Drone Delivery Canada partners with DSV to commence drone-based delivery of “dangerous goods”

Partnerships

 • Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), an Ontario-based drone and logistics systems developer, has partnered with DSV Canada, the Canadian division of the global transport and logistics provider DVS, to transport “dangerous goods” in a route within the DSV’s warehouse facility in Milton, Ontario. This makes DCC the first to deliver dangerous goods by drones in Canada.

 • Dangerous goods refer to products with safety risks and considered potentially hazardous to transport. This list includes items such as flammable liquids, lithium-ion batteries, and infectious substances.

Analyst QuickTake: DDC has been working together with DSV Canada since 2019 to establish delivery routes to transport goods within and from DSV’s warehouse in Milton to nearby locations for DSV’s customers including Reckitt Benckiser, a global producer of health, hygiene, and home products.
