Innovatrics partners with Ambarella to introduce facial recognition for OEM devices

Product updates
Partnerships

  • Innovatrics, a biometrics solutions provider based in Slovakia, has announced the integration of its SmartFace facial recognition system, with CV22 and CV25 system-on-a-chip (SoC) processors by Ambarella, a provider of SoCs developed based on computer vision architecture, to enable face detection directly on original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices.

  • SmartFace embedded CV22 and CV25 SoCs that are designed for AI-based facial recognition in processing images and videos, which will be able to accurately detect a face within 11ms and 16ms respectively through on-camera processing.

  • The new solution will allow innovative deployment options by simplifying access control solutions through reduced bandwidth and server resources requirements.
