Heirloom raises USD 53 million in Series A funding

Funding

  • Heirloom, a direct air capture (DAC) startup, has secured USD 53 million in a Series A round co-led by Carbon Direct Capital Management, Ahren Innovation Capital, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Other participating investors were Breyer Capital, Grantham Environmental Trust,  Lowercarbon Capital,  TIME Ventures, Carbon Removal Partners, Seven Seven Six, and The Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund.

  • The proceeds will be used to scale research and development.
