Odd Burger signs agreement with Sai-Ganesh Enterprises to expand to 36 new Canadian locations

Partnerships

  • Canadian vegan fast-food chain Odd Burger (known as Globally Local prior to 2021) signed an area representative agreement with Sai-Ganesh Enterprises (SGE), a hospitality group specializing in franchising and commercial construction, to open 36 new locations in Alberta and British Columbia.

  • The new outlets will be launched over the next seven years starting with Calgary and Victoria. SGE also has plans to open a corporate restaurant location for training new franchisees in Western Canada.

  • Odd Burger also announced 90% loans to cover costs related to opening new locations, offered through the Canada Small Business Financing Program, to encourage potential franchise owners.
