Wanda Fish Technologies partners with Tufts University to accelerate cultured seafood production

Partnerships

  • Wanda Fish Technologies, an Israel-based cell-cultured seafood startup, has signed multiple agreements with Tufts University to accelerate the former’s cultured seafood production.

  • According to the terms of the agreement, Wanda Fish will gain exclusive rights to intellectual property under a licensing agreement relating to fish cell cultivation developed by David Kaplan, a leading Tufts university researcher in the field of cellular agriculture. In addition, Wanda Fish has also signed a two-year sponsored research agreement to support David Kaplan in researching production of fish tissue using cellular agriculture.
