Wanda Fish Technologies, an Israel-based cell-cultured seafood startup, has signed multiple agreements with Tufts University to accelerate the former’s cultured seafood production.
According to the terms of the agreement, Wanda Fish will gain exclusive rights to intellectual property under a licensing agreement relating to fish cell cultivation developed by David Kaplan, a leading Tufts university researcher in the field of cellular agriculture. In addition, Wanda Fish has also signed a two-year sponsored research agreement to support David Kaplan in researching production of fish tissue using cellular agriculture.
