Howspace, a Finnish digital collaboration tool, announced that it had raised EUR 12 million (approximately USD 15 million) in a Series A funding round led by Forestay Capital and Inventure.
The round brings the total funding to EUR 15 million (approximately USD 18 million), with the fresh funds being funneled toward its expansion efforts in North America and Central Europe. This includes scaling its core business and hiring new talent.
Founded in 2008, Howspace offers an AI-driven platform for hybrid events, workshops, team development, and strategic planning initiatives. The platform has a drag-and-drop interface allowing users to instantly build customized workspaces that can accommodate an unlimited number of users while facilitating polls, chats, and meeting bookings. As of February 2020, the company served 200,000 active users on its platform.
