Rewatch, an enterprise video meeting archive, announced its USD 20 million Series A funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The round also included participation from Semil Shah (Haystack) and Kent Goldman (Upside Partnership), and individual investors Jack Altman (CEO, Lattice), Christina Kosmowski (President, LogicMonitor), Max Mullen (Co-Founder, Instacart), and Larry Gadea (CEO, Envoy).
The round follows Rewatch’s seed funding round of USD 2 million in January 2021, bringing the total funding to USD 22 million. Along with the financing, Rewatch announced that it is coming out of invite-only beta and launching to the public.
Founded in 2020, Rewatch acts as a company’s database of Zoom or Google Meet meetings. It transcribes meetings and creates searchable video libraries. Rewatch also allows users to tag and pin specific moments of meetings for asynchronous viewing and direct collaboration. The platform also integrates with Slack, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Some of its customers include GitHub, Brex, Envoy, and The Athletic.
