Glip, a gaming-related content creation infrastructure provider, has raised USD 3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Better Capital, iSeed, and a group of angel investors.
The fresh funds will be used to introduce monetization tools such as NFT auctions during livestreams and stream modifiers to allow creators to monetize on top of existing distribution platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook. Glip allows creators to keep 90% of their sales on the platform.
The company’s monthly active user base grew by ~400x to two million users during the preceding three months and the company plans to onboard 10 million gamers by the end of the year and expand operations in the US.
