Miso Robotics, a kitchen automation company, has introduced its latest product line “CookRight Coffee,” a coffee monitoring system powered by its camera-based AI and machine learning-driven cooking platform “CookRight.”
The system offers actionable insights such as volume, temperature, and notifying when coffee urns need to be replaced. However, it is not directly involved in the coffee-making process.
Currently, the company is evaluating and testing the platform in partnership with bakery-cafe chain Panera Bread, with plans to install it at the latter's restaurants upon the success of tests.

Analyst QuickTake: Miso Robotics released “CookRight,” a cooking platform as a standalone Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering for restaurants in May 2021. The system also powers its primary product offering “Flippy,” a burger flipping robot. Furthermore, the news comes just one month after Miso Robotics partnered with fast-casual restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill to introduce a customized robot dubbed “Chippy” to cook tortilla chips at the latter’s restaurants. Earlier, in February, the company also announced the opening of a Series E funding round, partially to meet the rising demand for its robotic solutions.
