Mytaverse, a virtual shared metaverse platform for enterprises, has raised USD 7.6 million in a seed funding round led by Blumberg Capital. Baselayer Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Accelerator Ventures, and Alberto Peisach (CEO/president, Grupo Phoenix) also participated. As part of the deal, David Blumberg (managing partner, Blumberg Capital) will join Mytaverse’s board of directors.
The fresh funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand sales and technology teams, and enhance interactions with brands and strategic partners. In terms of product development, Mytaverse’s plans include introducing an automated platform for enterprises to build and manage their own spaces, 3D assets, and experiences as well as improving the customizability of users’ digital avatars.
