Origin Materials to develop sustainable packaging for LVMH Beauty

Partnerships

  • Origin Materials, a carbon-negative materials manufacturer, has entered into a strategic partnership with LVMH Beauty, the fashion division of luxury goods manufacturer LVMH Moet Hennesy Louis Vuitton, to develop bio-based packaging for the latter’s perfumes and cosmetics products.

  • According to the partnership, Origin Materials will supply its bio-based polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) to LVMH under a multi-year capacity reservation agreement, to be used in the latter’s products.

  • Origin Materials also aims to extend the partnership with LVMH Beauty to eventually supply its bio-based material to all of the latter’s brands including Christian Dior, Givenchy, and Guerlain.
