Gravity Sketch, a collaborative 3D design platform, has raised USD 33 million in a Series A funding round led by Accel. GV (formerly Google Ventures), Kindred Capital, Point Nine, Forward Partners, and individual investors including Will Smith (Dreamers VC), Kevin Durant, and Rich Kleiman (Thirty Five Ventures) also participated. The round follows a 4x revenue growth in the past 12 months and brings the company’s total funding to over USD 40 million.
The fresh funds are earmarked for platform development, which includes the expansion of LandingPad, a collaborative feature for “non-designer” users to view and provide feedback on the design process. A part of the funding will also be used to expand its sales, customer success, and onboarding teams.
