HAAS Alert integrates with LYT to improve road safety response times

Partnerships

  • HAAS Alert, which specializes in providing road and work zone safety alert systems,  announced an integration with LYT, a road safety alert system specialized for emergency vehicles. As a result, LYT’s emergency vehicle preemption (EVP) solution can now integrate with HAAS Alert’s safety cloud prevention solution.

  • Motorists using HAAS Alert’s safety cloud would now receive advance warning and more time to safely slow down and clear roadways when an emergency vehicle equipped with LYT’s EVP solution approaches.

  • LYT is a connected traffic intelligence system that offers a cloud-based road safety alert platform. The platform uses AI-powered machine learning technology that uses existing vehicle tracking sensors and city communication networks to dynamically adjust the phase and timing of traffic signals. The firm provides solutions for first responders, transit operators, and transport agencies and claims that its solutions result in 20% shorter travel times, 12% reduction in emissions, and 14% fuel savings.
