French quantum hardware startup Alice & Bob has partnered with Google to offer its "cat qubit" chip, Boson 4, on Google's cloud platform.
Boson 4, the world's first publicly available cat qubit chip, aims to provide a robust quantum computing process by limiting bit-flip errors. Organizations can now utilize this technology via Google Cloud Marketplace to conduct quantum computing research and experiments.
Alice & Bob intends to enhance the chip's phase-flip performance and enable multi-qubit operations in the future. It is also working on other multi-qubit chips for quantum error detection and correction.
