Riverlane, a quantum error correction technology company, and Atlantic Quantum, a developer of scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computers, have partnered to work on quantum error correction.
The partnership will combine Riverlane's quantum error correction (QEC) stack, "Deltaflow," with Atlantic Quantum's superconducting fluxonium-based qubit architecture. This collaboration aims to advance unique quantum error correction techniques and accelerate the path toward achieving quantum advantage, enabling sustained quantum computation and useful applications.
Analyst QuickTake : This partnership follows Riverlane’s partnership with Alice & Bob in May 2024, which focused on integrating the company’s error correction technology with the latter’s cat qubit-based quantum computing system. With error correction being one of the most important focuses of quantum computing startups, Riverlane is exploring the potential of its technology with various systems—cat qubits and superconducting fluxonium-based qubits.
