Panasonic Energy has signed a long-term agreement with H&T Recharge to supply lithium-ion battery cans for EVs in North America.
The two companies initially partnered in 2017, with H&T supplying Panasonic Energy's Nevada facility with 40 GWh of battery capacity annually.
The extended partnership aims to extend H&T’s supply to Panasonic Energy’s Kansas facility, which is scheduled to begin operations by March 2025. H&T aims to supply battery cans with an estimated annual capacity of ~30 GWh to the facility.
