In October 2021, Persefoni launched its Climate Scenario Modeling Product with SBTi Temperature Rating Methodology and Finance Temperature Scoring & Portfolio Coverage Tool, enabling users to calculate carbon pathways by sector, across various base and target years. Persefoni also launched its climate impact app via the Stripe App marketplace in July 2022 . Afterwards in September 2022 , Persefoni launched its new entity, Persefoni Singapore Pte Ltd, to establish the company’s presence across the Asia Pacific region. In May 2022, Persefoni also partnered with Carbon Direct , an advisory platform for carbon management, to support corporations by providing climate disclosures, carbon accounting, and mitigation plans to achieve their climate goals. In July 2022, the company partnered with Carnrite Group , a management consultancy firm, to develop a Footprint Data Services solution. Persefoni entered into a strategic collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) and IBM Japan to provide carbon footprint data for Japanese companies, during August 2022. During November 2022, the company partnered with Deloitte , to offer carbon measurement solutions across the banking and insurance industry. In April 2023, the company collaborated with ERM, a pure-play sustainable consultancy provider, to optimize the latter’s advisory services to reduce carbon footprint. In April 2024, Persefoni partnered with AuditBoard , a cloud-based audit, risk, compliance and ESG management platform to integrate carbon accounting into the latter's ESG program management. Funding and Financials
Persefoni’s most recent funding round was in August 2023, when it raised USD 50 million in a Series C-1 funding round led by TPG Rise. Previously in October 2021, the company raised USD 101 million in Series B funding led by Prelude Ventures and The Rise Fund. Previously, in April 2021, Persefoni raised USD 9.7 million in a Series A round led by existing investor Rice Investment Group with participation from NGP ETP and Sallyport Investments. The funds raised are expected to be used for business expansion, product innovation, and international expansion.
