Green Monday Group is a South Korean company that produces plant-based meat products under the OmniFoods brands. The brand offers several plant-based products like potstickers, pork-style ground, pork-style strips, meat-style luncheon, crab-style cakes, and golden filets, among others. OmniFoods products are available nationwide in the US through major retailers like Walmart, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Giant, Albertsons, and more.
In November 2022, the company unveiled its proprietary vegan fat–OmniNano–which will be used to produce three new products (plant-based beef cut and tips, plant-based chicken wings, and plant-based pork cutlets). Further, in March 2024, launched the OMNI Garden range comprising of bowls, patties, and notably the Lion’s Mane Mushroom Steak.
Key customers and partnerships
In September 2022, OmniFoods partnered with North America’s largest food distributor, DotFoods for the distribution of Omni’s entire portfolio across the 5200 grocer network of DotFoods. OmniFoods partnered with Kenchan Ramen in October 2022 to launch DIY ramen meal kits.
In June 2023, OmniFoods partnered with 7-Eleven Hawaii to launch a plant-based Katsu Musubi featuring OMNI Luncheon. Later, in September 2023, OmniFoods partnered with vegan fast-casual chain Veggie Grill to supply OMNI Golden Filet for the relaunching of Baja Fish menu items. In October 2023, the company collaborated with Neat BUrger to launch new seafood menu options featuring OMNI Golden Filet at Neat Burger’s NYC outlet.
