Hightouch is a comprehensive customer data platform (CDP) that offers a suite of solutions to help businesses use and synchronize customer data across different tools and platforms. These solutions include Reverse ETL, which enables the transfer of customer data from a data warehouse to SaaS tools without APIs or CSV files, a personalization API for real-time access to data for personalized experiences, and Customer Studio for streamlined audience management and personalized marketing campaigns. Additionally, data enrichment solution Match Booster empowers marketers to optimize advertising performance by increasing match rates across ad networks through the integration of first-party customer data and leading enrichment providers. The platform also has integrations with data platforms like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and PostgreSQL. As of June 2023, its customers included Spotify, Betterment, NBA, GameStop, WeightWatchers, Tripadvisor, Calendly, and GitLab. 

Hightouch claims to work with the data that businesses already interact with on a daily basis. It offers syncing times of 23 minutes or less, providing the flexibility to adapt to different data collection and structuring methods without imposing rigid requirements. It also offers fair and predictable costs without additional charges for storing extra data copies or the need for complex event tracking or infrastructure setup.

In April 2022, Hightouch acquired Workbase, a startup specializing in workflow automation, to broaden its solutions for business teams like marketing and revenue operations. In July 2022, the firm further strengthened its position in implementing Data Activation on an enterprise scale by acquiring Whatis, a knowledge management startup based in the UK.

Key customers and partnerships

In July 2021, the company partnered with Fivetran, a data integration platform that loads data from various tools into a data warehouse, to activate and use the data stored in the data warehouse for key business workflows. In August 2022, Hightouch partnered with Dreamdata, a company that helps B2B companies use data warehouses for revenue and customer data analysis, to empower businesses to activate their modeled data for personalized marketing campaigns. 

Funding and financials 

In July 2023, the company raised USD 38 million in additional funding led by Bain Capital Ventures, to launch and grow Hightouch's Customer 360 offering and to scale its engineering and go-to-market teams throughout 2024. The round follows its USD 40 million Series B funding led by ICONIQ Growth , valuing the firm at USD 450 million in November 2021.
