Tompkins Robotics develops robotic sorting systems for warehouse operations and fulfillment services. The company’s flagship product “t-Sort” is a scalable robotic sorting system that uses autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and is supported by Tompkins Warehouse Execution System (TWES) software.
The company’s solutions use a combination of proprietary algorithms and machine learning to automate the process of sorting, picking, and transporting items within warehouses. Its product portfolio offers two sortation methods, tilt trays and cross belts, and includes four sortation system models tSort, tSort Plus, tSort Mini, and xPress. The technology is capable of sorting items from those as small as a penny to items that are 40 inches long and 30 inches wide. As of August 2023, the company had deployed 10,000 robots. The company offers its products on a subscription-based robots-as-a-service (RaaS) business model.
In June 2024, it acquired Primary Sight, a supply chain technology solutions vendor in Australia and New Zealand, to expand its global footprint and enhance its innovative capabilities.
Tompkins Robotics’ revenue reportedly rose 93% YoY in 2022.
