WFHomie (Acquired by GoCo)

WFHomie operates a subscription-based employee engagement platform targeting distributed teams. It analyzes distributed team behavior through data integrations with third-party tools such as Slack, G-Suite, and various HRIS systems to identify signs of employee burnout and loss of interest. It also provides recommendations for improvement by leveraging virtual experiences, team-building activities, and employee appreciation services such as corporate gifting. As of December 2021, WFHomie was operational in Toronto and Montreal with plans to expand to the rest of the US and Canada, and its customer base included the likes of Google, Facebook, Wealthsimple, Lane, BMO, and TD, as it focuses primarily on tech, finance, and consulting firms that have 700 to 5,000 employees.

In December 2021, WFHomie raised CAD 1.9 million (approx. USD 1.5 million) in pre-seed funding . The funds were raised for its expansion across the US and Canada, hiring, and platform development.

WFHomie was acquired by GoCo , a provider of HR, benefits, and payroll software, in February 2023 .
