Milkadamia

Milkadamia is a producer of plant-based milk alternatives and other products made primarily from macadamia nuts. The company offers a range of macadamia nut milk, including unsweetened, vanilla, lightly sweetened, and barista varieties.

The company sources its macadamia nuts predominantly from farms in Australia and South Africa that use regenerative farming techniques. According to the company, its products provide a creamy texture and a subtle flavor profile while being vegan, non-GMO, and free from dairy, gluten, and soy.

Aside from its lineup of macadamia milks, Milkadamia has introduced several new product innovations. These include ready-to-drink beverages, including Milk Tea made with macadamia milk and black tea as well as a Coffee Latte combining macadamia milk with arabica espresso. Additionally, in August 2024, it launched Flat Pack Organic Oat Milk in the US market. According to the company, these proprietary 2D-printed oat milk sheets reduce packaging waste by 94% and decreases product weight by 85%.

Milkadamia's products are sold in over 12,000 retail locations across the US and the UK, as well as in 2,000 cafés. The major retailers carrying Milkadamia products include Target, Whole Foods, Albertsons family of stores, and Fresh Thyme.

Key customers and partnerships

In May 2022, Milkadami partnered with chickpea protein company InnovoPro to develop a chickpea ice cream. Further, during the same month, the company expanded its full product line into the Canadian market through a distribution agreement with Beverage World, Inc.
