    In May 2019, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation solutions, made an investment of an undisclosed amount in AutoGrid, making it a major shareholder in the company. The investment was followed by a co-innovation partnership that focused on driving new AI and machine learning solutions for utilities and industrial
    companies.&nbsp;In May 2022, Schneider Electric announced plans to

     AutoGrid, with the transaction expected to close in Q3 2022, allowing AutoGrid to expand into new geographies.

  <p>
    Auto Grid&rsquo;s most recent funding round was in October 2021, where it raised USD 85 million in a Series D-2 funding round led by SE Ventures. The proceeds will be used to expand platform capabilities and to speed up global expansion. In January 2021, Auto Grid also received a grant of USD 2.3 million from the U.S. Department of Energy&rsquo;s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) to increase the scalability and EV management capabilities of its platform.&nbsp;

Rhode Island may not have as many colleges as larger states, but Roger Williams University proves that quality is far more important than quantity. RWU offers a vast array of academic resources, including the only law school in the state. For all the educational opportunities at the university, you would expect a bigger school, but Roger Williams maintains an enrollment of about 4,500 and a student-to-faculty ratio below 12:1. The regular admissions deadline is in early February, but RWU also has two Early Action admissions deadlines in November. Requirements vary for graduate programs. Financial aid is available in many forms, including government programs and institutional scholarships.
