Voyage Foods is a food technology company known for recreating foods using sustainable ingredients. The company's current product line includes peanut-free spreads and hazelnut-free spreads available at retail, as well as its cocoa-free chocolate and bean-free coffee, which are available as ingredients for other CPG food manufacturers and in the foodservice channel.
The Peanut-Free Spread is made from a seed blend (roasted sunflower kernels and grape seeds) and a grain & legume blend (chickpea flour, rice protein, wild rice). The Hazelnut-Free Spread includes a seed blend (roasted sunflower kernels and grape seeds), sunflower protein flour, and rice flour. Voyage Foods' chocolate is made from grape seeds and sunflower seed meal.
Voyage's nut-free spreads are available at numerous retail locations across the US, including major grocers such as Walmart, Sprouts Farmers Market, and Nugget Markets. These are also accessible online through platforms like Amazon.
The company has a 25,000 sq ft research and processing facility in Oakland, California. In October 2024, Voyage Foods announced plans to expand its manufacturing operations with a new 284,000-square-foot facility in Mason, Ohio, set to open in January 2025. This facility, partially funded by a USD 25 million USDA-guaranteed loan, will produce cocoa-free chocolate, nut-free spreads, and bean-free coffee, with an annual capacity of 10,000 metric tons.
